Until otherwise warranted.

Just to let the French nation know. The Lords of the Burning Sea will be accepting 100% surrenders from any French player in any PvP situation.

We will do so until it is other wise warranted. In other words if you needlessly sink our players in PvP after they offer surrender this privilege will be revoked.

We look forward to a civilized future with you and hope you share this sentiment. If a LBS member sinks you after you offer surrender please contact a member of our admiralty in game via mail and we will make sure it does not happen again.
Contacts are as follows.....
Viceroy Adam Bolla
Judge Bloodgood

Thank you for your time.

BY ORDER OF THE ADMIRALTY;

ALL Royal Red ships and their crews will accept the surrender of all foes in PvP combat. The Royal Red asks all of Britain's adversaries, in the interests of humanity, decency and honour, to surrender in PvP when it is demanded of them at the conclusion of a fair contest of arms.

There is no dishonour in surrendering to another power when one has been beaten in a fair contest of arms. There is an overriding duty in such circumstances to choose life over death. Senselessly throwing away life is deplorable in the extreme when the righteous course of action is to admit defeat and treat with ones enemies for ones own life and that of one's sub-ordinates.

Gentlemen officers who surrender to the Royal Red can be assured they will be paroled upon their own honour and accommodated equal to their station. Civilian passengers, including all women and children, will be escorted unharmed, to a friendly port whereupon they can continue on their way.

It should be noted however, that rogue societies and captains of other powers that do not accept surrenders on similar or like terms, will be given no quarter. Their captains, and all the souls aboard their vessels, shall be slaughtered to the last. Their rotten corpses will be committed to lie in the deep until the end of days.
