Can someone explain the ship thing to me. I am not sure I have it all figured out. Ip layed apirate through most of beta so the whole writ and commendations thing is lost on me I think.

As a freetrader I want a Couronne. Now I went and looked in the office, and it says you need a writ and commendations to get the writ. So my question is do you need to do all that PvP to get one or is the one offered there special?

It is goign to be hard enough making the money and get thematerials for one in the first place, but having to PvP enough to get enough kills to get everything that they want for one will make it a full time job. It isn't even a "real" SOL. Also as a freetrader making us fight to get a ship like that doesn't really make sense to me.

So maybe I am missing soemthing and that one offered is something special. if not then all I can say is what a weird system to get top end ships.

You don't need to PvP. Those ships are available to PvE players too.

Actually atm the navy writs are screwy. I can't find the citations of conquest reward writ for anything past a third rate. I do know royal commendations are for missions that require level 40 or 50 or something. Any ideas why we can't get first rates with citations of conquest?

Oh, can we just get writs completely removed, now that it needs so many resources?
