Marks not working even after boarding

Just a heads-up really. I don't have a definitive screenshot as I wasn't prepared for it, but I boarded a lvl21 in a vanilla Bermuda Sloop (i.e. not Fallback) and didn't receive any Marks of Victory for winning. I've submitted a bug report.

First screen is log after combat finished. Loot received was from Scavenge, none received from the actual victory. 2nd screen is the player's display on the OS after the fight - I tracked him down just to check his level and the ship he was in.

He had died previous to your engagement hence you get nothing for killing him.

Note the 2nd screen was taken after my engagement. He had not been previously killed.

I also haven't gotten marks from several wins. No idea why.

Yup, our whole group got one of one kill last night, however that was the first anyone had seen in a day or two despite action.

I thought it was already a known issue that sinking rarely gives a Mark, which is why I've always favoured boarding if the choice presents itself. I hope a bug's been filed on the sinking issue already. This is different, as it's the first time I've boarded and not got a Mark.

Is there measures in game t stop someone from farming marks with a 2nd account.. besides the timer I mean.

I thought marks for pvp were disabled during preboarding and the only way to get em was through blockade/patrol missions and supply handins.

no, they do drop off of other players. Just...not as frequently as would be appreciable.

The number of victory marks are ridicolous...is like only 30% of the successful...and im talking about ships or pvp which were suppossed to drop the marks.

For example, today like 5 victories, about 15 ships defeated and NONE dropped mark of victory...and i repeat all of them were susceptible of dropping them

Main way of achieveing mark of victories should be PVPing and some certain missions for traders.
