The basic problem you are going to have with this sail is that it is what we call "a full sail replacement" - while you have partial transparency throughout, some areas MUST be completely transparent. A sail decal cannot actually cover the entirety of the sail's surface area. I would probably suggest making the blue transparent and just applying it to blue sails.

More minor quibbles:

1) You are using the wrong version of the Union Jack. That version didn't pop up until the 19th century. We need to use the 1606 version (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Union_flag_1606_(Kings_Colors).svg) without the diagonal red lines.

2) You've got transparent elements on top of other transparent elements, resulting in being able to see the Union jack through the Gryphons and text. It is generally better to put all of your design elements together, merge them into a single layer, THEN adjust for your partial transparency so that you don't have one part showing through another.

Hope that helps! :D

Looking good! Remember if your sail decal covers more than 50% of the sail it must be partially transparent. The suggested level is an opacity of 50-70%.
