6v7 fight in the OS ???

Hello,

last night while trying to find willing (or sometimes not) english pvpers outside Bartica we were attacked by an english all flagged group. Me and my five buddies were looking forward to a nice 6v6, but when the battle was loaded we had the surprise to find 7 opponents !! And before anybody says it, they were all players, no npc in the instance. And they all were in the battle since the beginning (as were we), as if their 7 people group (!) was taken into the battle at once.

Unfortunately in the heat of the battle none of us thought about taking screenshots... Anyway luckily for us they didn't take good advantage of their superior numbers, we managed to kill one of them, one of ours was almost sunk but we could save him and the rest of the brits just ran out of the battle.

But about the issue : is it a known bug, and had anyone else already experienced it ? I was dead sure that only 6 people could fight on one side in the OS !

Interesting...sounds almost like somebody snuck in while everybody was being pulled in as a group. Can't really think of any other way that could happen to be honest.

Saw that fight as well. British NO officer I didn't fight against you because didn't get there in time before the instance closed. But I saw the 7 showing thought it was just a bug. Were there actually 7 enemy?

Hey. I think I may have been the 7th (polka dot sailed Xebec?) ... I saw you guys floating around looking for trouble, I then saw your group move to attack another group close by. As this happened, the battle indicator was green which I thought was odd as neither was I grouped with, nor myself, a pvp flagged player.

Needless to say I left the battle once I realised what had happened, though I didn't count the number of players on our side.

Hard to believe, without a screenshot for proof. Never seen this happen since Open Beta. Must have been a freak networking error or something? I'd bet it'd be impossible to reproduce.

I'm not sure of the exact limit...but in AdHoc PvP...if it's green...you can enter. I am SURE you can get a crap ton of people in a battle inside the Red Circle.
