Two questions on Flags

Do flag designs have to adhere to the preset templates? (Other than size)?

If a design looks as though it could be attached to a pole is that good enough?

If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if you can make flags in shapes other than square/rectangular/etc.

The answer is yes, but with one big caveat: The shape needs to appear realistic. That means nothing sticking out to the left, letting any "cuts" in the flag bend to the right, as if blown that way by the wind.

Your best bet if you're looking to experiment will be to preview designs in your Flags and Sails thread (http://www.burningsea.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45968) before putting items "In Voting."
