I have noticed that there are no non-british ships at Turtling Bay (well maybe the odd pirate) which makes it impossible to knock points off without the huge money sink that is the garrison commander. Surely we should be able to defend our own deep water port?
This was a problem in beta that FLS knew about but it appears they still havent fixed it.

pirates also work not as fast but it works? are there any pirates (never goes near turtling bay..)

There is the odd Cortez but nowhere near enough to reduce the contention with all the British traders there. Literally NO French or Spanish ships are ever there.

Once a pvp zone opens up the spwns change considerably.

Bit late then. A properly organised defence should be able to prevent a port going into PVP.

Where is the fun in that?
The contention game would be nothing but the slaughter of NPCs on a grandiose scale.
This way the defenders must face some danger.
