When your client is crashing a top of the line computer every time it needs to load b/c you can't fix your bugs then don't enable functions of said game that can be greatly affected by the inability of programmers to do their jobs. I have never seen an MMO have so many crashes, flagrant bugs, imbalances at the launch in over 15 years of MMO gaming.

I would suggest posting all technical problems here:

Whatabout those of us who aren't crashing? Guess we're SOL then since you're the only person that matters? No offence, but check your driver, scan for spyware, etc. There's a reason you keep crashing and it may not be FLS's fault. Or, it may be. Which is why doing what Arch said is also important.

I think someone's crying in the red circle because they got disconnected. But disable PvP just for that? Yyyyyeah!

I think in the 100 hours or more i've played this game in the last month I have only crashed/frozen once. My room mate has crashed once or twice more, but not since the vista fix.

All in all this is probably the SMOOTHEST release i've been a part of in a long time.

I use to crash often. Then I did some stress tests and found one of my sticks of RAM was bad. Now I don't crash.

I have quite some crashes and dc's on my crappy home computer. My office computer runs it's really smoothly. Yesterday I played six hours, directly after launch, without a single issue.

I have never seen a launch this clean. I suggest you check your rig before starting to make rude comments about the skill of the FLS programmers.

I agree completely! Great launch (for a great game). I'd also suggest checking drivers and stuff since there seem to be something screwing your game.

Good luck!

What an incredibly original comment on an MMO board. I commend you on your amazing gift of originality.

You obviously haven't played many MMOs in 15 years.

or....stay out of PvP until you figure out what the problem is. There's more to do here than just PvP ya know.

ROFLMAO. Priceless and, most likely, accurate. Or, even more likely, OP is a blatant lie.

I have a min spec machine in everything but RAM, which is only barely recommended spec. In 4 weeks the only crash I've experienced is the known (and fixed) ship transport infinite loading screen soft lock.

I work in the video game industry, originally working my way up from QA tester way back when. We had a saying in QA:

"Its not a bug if you suck." Or, in this case, if your machine sucks.

That has to be one of the most beautiful things I've seen lately. I'm stealing it for my sig. :yar:

While I have some gripes with some bugs introduced for me in the patches

I can safely say that as far as crashes go this game is in no way near the worst in mmorpg launches

Between VG and AO no one can argue this game is even close

I agree completely, one of the most polished launches ever.

@ OP: 15 years of MMO gaming? UO was the first true mmo to ever hit the market, it defined the genre as we know it, and was released September 25th 1997.

Sure there were other games allowing online play prior to UO, such as The Realm Online, NWN or Meridian 59, but they were by not MMORPG's in any way, shape or form.

Blame yourself, your under-par hardware, or even blame santa claus! it makes no difference at all, because in the end the only person who seems to think FLS is at fault for something is you, and that sounds like a personal issue, not a technical one.

QFT, and you've made my sig as well with that little gem.
