Do I need to be concerned about faction hits from helping build unrest?

Good question, id like to hear the answer.

I was told fighting actual PCs never effects your rep (havent validated it) but I wonder if taking place in building unrest does or not.

I don't know about this, either. To be on the safe side, I'm doing all my mindless killing with my NO alt and leaving my FT available to sail in to all ports.

Sinking players does not affect your rep but attacking NPCs to build contention will. Engage with discretion.

But how do you intend to get your Freetrader to lvl 45 to own a Master Naval Yard being only and alt.

IMO Freetraders should get more xp generated from production.

Maybe you can just attack the navy ships and euro traders and not the trade unions? Just a thought.
