1vs1, CT vs BUC, does the BUC stand a chance?

Same ships, same fits, of course...
And if not in same fits/same ships, which ship should a Buccaneer play to be better than a CT?

Well, the Bucc is a lot tougher than a CT, but still maneuverable enough to compete well in a 1v1. Their tough crew would also stand up better to the de-crewing skills of a CT better than other classes, IMO. Really, I think they could stand up to or defeat one in any even ship.

Yes. CT has more bells and whistles, but they don't do **** against 50% resist and just as good damage/turn/insertsomethinghere.

The buccaneer doesn't need to be able to beat cutthroats, it just needs to be able to beat FTs, privs and NOs.

The Bucc stands up well to anything 1v1.
