How long we need to wait until services is up? I really expect a daily update. The last update is from 4 may... service is really BS here. Some of us are major adults and no stupid kids you know...

The website went down due to some unplanned maintenance that was completely unrelated to the SOE outage. I'm sorry we didn't have time to post a warning.

They are making daily updates, but only on facebook and twitter. And I think there is nothing much to say :( The only update I wanna read is: SOE is alive! or something similar :)

Umm how long will it take to code, test and retest something that you thought was acceptable/sufficient in the first place? You know its got to work this time, you know you're under huge pressure to get it finished asap but you also know that if it fails AGAIN you'll get the blame.

Can't say I envy that job.....

If you want to know when you'll be able to play again you need to speak to the people who have been tasked to fixing and testing this. Has anyone done/heard from someone doing that, if so I'd like to hear there opinion anyone else's is not worth much I would venture.

looks like Japan gets the switch flipped first and maybe the rest of us at a later date in some predetermined order

From the mutterings I've heard Sony are just about to release a PS3 update to 3.61 which will allow users to change their security settings (pasword, username etc.).... Once this first stage has gone without hitch they will release an update which will enable some features of the PSN network like chat etc....
Then they will release further staggered updates increasing the amount of content available within PSN until it's fully restored.

Though this will be staggered by region for security reasons and starting in Japan.

What this means for SOE is anybodies guess but it's a step in the right direction.
