People are asking for the rules to change, in case you didn't notice. To respond to "the rules should be changed" using the "The rules allow it" line is simply a logical fallacy. It has no bearing on the argument whatsoever, you see.

I think he's just saying that you shouldn't expect people to play at the same time you do, or go to the servers you want them to. Who are YOU, to tell them where, when, and how to play a game when it's perfectly within the rules to do as they do.

... and i bully kids which is half my age when there are nobody around to help him. Is there any laws about not being allowed to bully people? Do i get put in prison for bullying? No, but that doesnt make it right.

We are losing what? The only thing we are losing is Pirates of the Burning Sea when it gets closed down due to lack of population.

We aren't even fighting them, so how can we loose anything? We do get stolen from, mind you.

Would be really nice if we went to the original idea. You know the one were you had to have time periode correct names. That your sails and flags had to fit the time periode.
It's sad seeing how the community has really just fallen into what it is with names spelled to sound like vulgar language or leetspeak/dudespeak.

I really miss the community we had 2-3 years ago. With groups Like The Highland Confederacy or Vanguardia de la Cuarta Flota, and Swashbucklers. All very intelligent and fun groups. Something else I ask about is. It would be nice to see the alittle more giving to the roleplay side of the game. Places and such that would make it alittle easier for Roleplayers to gather and feel immersed. I'd like to point out many games have continued past their prime due to a large number of Roleplayers with the tools to make an interesting home for them selves. One thing about other gaming types is they seem to always look for the new and shiny. Roleplayers tend to stick around due to community friends and stories they share. It honestly feels though that roleplayers have been pushed out by the FLS staff or at the very least ignored.

Last but not least. Maybe a society hall or such. A place where society's can meet with each other. Or maybe a large ship that can serve that function that a member of the society can sail. There are untold amounts of options really. Something worth looking into.

EQ2 is still going strong since 2004, because it has alot of fluff that potbs doesn't. Like guild halls, player housing craftable clothing. Things that FLS should have had from the beggining. People get bored, then they leave. It's the little things that keep people interested. I know players, including myself that would spend hours questing for house decor and clothing items. Why can't we have that in our game??

Because this is a game for manly men, who sit behind their keyboard all day and sink pixulated ships, then rub the worthless scrubs face in it on global chat and the forums. Manly men never get bored doing those kinda things.

We don't do things like decorate houses, and craft clothing, 'cause it's unmanly, and no self respecting cutthroat would ever want his "man" card revoked.

If you want to quest for house stuff and clothing items, just hang out with the wife at the mall on the weekend.

Me, I'd rather do manly things......YARRRRR!
