The blunderbuss.

Pirates often used the blunderbuss in boarding and land combat.

This can be used to cause damage to multiple opponents, the same as a grande does, but not quite as powerful.

Now forgive me if the blunderbuss is available in game but I've yet to see it or hear any discussion of it.

I too would like to see this.

However, I do seem to remember that at some point we're supposed to be getting other weapons (rifles and such), but don't quote me on that, I can't remember when I read that...
