Default What do you think about this? pirates role.

This is my vision about pirate's role:
We don't want necessary to conquer map, we are pirates, we just want to do group pvp as other factions.

You can just remove possibility for pirates to gain victory points and balance our faction to do serious pvp group.
I think that pirates must be a disturb for other nations.

Example: pirates lose one port -> no points for other factions.
pirates win one port -> no points for pirates.
As this we can do what we want: PVP and we can just disturb without possibility to win map.

Pirates in history was just disturb, no interest in conquer.... if pirate attack 1 port leave in 2 days max.

My english is bad but this is my think and vision of pirates, surely, pirates must not sux as this.

This don't want to be a flame, this is just my opinion and a lot of pirates want that situation to change.
We aren't not happy to do pvp in this condition, if you want pirates as just a disturb this is one possibile way.

Devs, what do you think?

I think the only problem is: pirate can't fight with nations beaucouse we haven't their ships...

We need only the possibility use the high lvl crafted ships...

One start is a real worthwhile "end-game" ship. The pirate herc is not even close to worth it's 500-800K cost(Mov being 2-3K each). A lineship bundle are you frikkin kidding me??
A HVY D is arguably better and..."free".

That might help keep the hamster pirates. Next is the fact that PB with Pirates are basically wasting everyone's time. It's a basic first rate joke, that makes "rats" just a laughing stock and irrelavant. either make us another nation, or make us truely "king makers". Let ports we take - revert back to the original owner. Mercenaries, that might be fun.

Baby steps and fairly easy changes, not requiring enhancements.

Every day pirates lose players, then every idea to improve the situation of the pirate nation must be evaluated. Now the pirates are not able to fight with groups of equal opponents, the inferiority of ships and skills is too obvious.

If the pirate continues in this way i will leave the game soon!!!

hey

morgan sacked panama and became a governor of Jamaica.. pirates must have an ability to win the map!!! otherwise they will leave.. simple pvp will get boring very quickly.

100% agree

this game's prob is the end game...

without any target we would get bored in a couple of months... expecially cuz it's pretty easy to reach lvl 50 and to get a decent ship (with a good fit)...

i'm still trying to imagine my end game and i still feel a lil bit... uhm.. worried?

Actually pirates have no end game.
Pirates that conquest the map have no sense, pirates must be element of disturb for all, pendant of the balance, nothing less, nothing more.
