Default Item Drop from killing NPC's

The dropping of goods that players can make is killing the economy, particularly where precious metals are concerned. Please make a market for these goods by removing them from npc drops. This will also help with gold spammers.

Umm as of Wed. the drops have been greatly reduced.

EDIT: But actually this has no effect on the over all economy nor on gold sellers. The change is fine, but it really doesnt matter at all except to the few people with a fetish for making expensive wine or mining silver.

Swivel guns used to sell for around 40 consistently, which was 35 below cost. Something used in good quantities by shipwrights. Now about 80 on rackham.

Umm no effect.. I disagree... if the price of gold, silver and fine wine increases, then the cost on the items that use those items, Can you say mastercraft ships...., then increases.
So it has given some value of effect, the extent is still unknown as to how much, on the economy.

No what is ruining the econ is the low amount of player and the pricks who overprice stuff.

I know the goods drop was supposed to have been produced yet I still see 'manufactured' itmes drop quite frequently.

How can I sell this stuff if the NPC's give it away?
