Default lag making game unplayable

This lag is horrible on black beard before you say its my machine its not

quad core 9770
9800 gx2 x2
16 gigs ram
windows xp pro x64
1.5 terabyte of hd space
8mb dsl withing nothing on it but my machine, no p2p running on bare install never surfs the web so no there is no spyware or virus all ready scanned for that.

in game mode av is not loaded.

I get 40 ms in wow but this game lags sooooooooo bad i know for a fact its the server did trace routes 0% pl, 120 ping.

Im running standard settings, when i zone i keep getting booted to server login screen , guess when conan is out ill have to shelf this game ,it still should be in beta was rushed out too fast.

The population is not even high during prime time seems the server can't handle even a moderate load.

Have fun with AoC.

That piece of crap needs to be in production for another two years just to make it playable.

You have the same issue I have.

Your ISP is using packet shaping designed to manage hoardes of people using bittorrent to download stuff.

Unfortunately the game uses the same packet type.

You will need to get your ISP to add the server & port ranges to an allowable list, or remove them from the list that gets shaped, see answer 112? 122? (forgotten which).

Good luck, i've been trying to get my ISP to do something about it for over a month, and they claim that they can't

NOTE: This is NOT a problem with the game, it is NOT a problem with your connection, it is a problem with your ISP
