My hat is off to you, sir.

I am not sure of your motivation, but it sure looked like you came into the New Orleans circle just so your friends who were too timid to leave their instance could make a run for it. If that was your aim, you succeeded.

The fight itself was a great one. My Minerva and Black Jack's regular Herc against your HH. It took roughly an hour and I think we just eventually outrepaired you.

/salute

Diego was a little dis heartened about not killing either of you but to make the battle last as long as it was is impressive.

while his battle was raging at the southern edge of the red zone around New Orleans Diego allowed probably 9 Spanish players escape the NO red area.

while it wasn't planned by either you (Diego or the groups in NO. the late coming French didn't get to stop the PB from being scheduled.

Stop the PB from being scheduled? We like PBs.. they are a lot more expensive for our enemies than 6 vs 6 fighting will ever be. I stayed far away with me and my group due to that very fact

It is certainly possible to get caught up in things and leave port without enough supplies. Later that same night one of the guys I was with was in a 1v1 and was going on in vent about how he had no repairs left at all except for his carpenter.

he did manage to win, but what should have been an easy fight ended up being pretty tense.

First thing I did after the fight with you was run down to Cayo and restock, I was completely out fo hull patches and fine gunpowder as well as one expert type either sail master or carpenter, I forget. I know Blackjack had run out of a thing or two also. Definitely an epic fight.
