Default Rudders

I've been playing this game since February, and there's always been something wrong with the ships that I couldn't quite put my finger on - until recently. The rudders! When you're turning your ship, the rudders don't move. How can a ship turn without moving rudders? I'm assuming this is a simple graphics thing that can be easily implemented into the game, so I think it would add a GREAT visual touch if the rudders actually moved when you are turning.

That and the ships steer from the center, not from the stern, so its not the rudder doing it, it's some hydraulic thruster amidships.

I've actually seen NPCs at 0% sails (all de-masted) and at full stop still able to turn slowly, but effectively and put guns to bare... So there is some truth to the hydraulic thruster theory.

The turning at 0 was implemented so npc's (and some silly sailors) didn't get run aground with no way out. It would be nice to see the rudders move though, especially if they could maybe make the axis at that point unless fully stopped (again, due to silly sailors sailing silly.) Great find though, I never noticed in over a year of playing!
