Forces;

Brits:10 : Some rates and frigates.

French:23 : 2 Valiants, rest frigates.

French attacked from east flank, assuming brits spawn from default position as they had entered the fort by the time we took position east of town defence gun.

We dispatched town defence gun while Ubert negotiated a 7 v 7 ship combat offer which was accepted.

7 Brits were 3 valiants 2 Reasons and 2 dauntless'

7 French were 2 valiants, 2 heavy hercs, 2 mercys' and 1 cap mc.

French losses 1 cap mc and 2 mercy, Brit losses all 7 (1 valiant surrendered which was accepted).

Town commander was then dispatched by Ubert 'The Cruel' La Danois as the fun had been had by both sides as is the case when one side shows restraint.

Was a very good fight but we only had 6 in the end. We were expecting to jump out of the fort straight in to your guns. Glad that didn't happen . Well done for accepting the surrender.
