Default Fix the Florida zone

Yesterday, like every other day in the Florida zone, a lvl 11 frog heading to the Louisiana area to continue missions was ganked by a rat and TP'd back to Grenville , I told this guy I would help him through the zone, and because he had the deadhead he will probably be left alone, so off we go and another rat started coming for us, and I jumped him, but the same rat that ganked him before came back and sunk him again.
I didn't know what to say to this guy, he asked what the rat got from it, and I told him the truth, nothing.
Its not just rats though, I've seen French repeatedly farm the baby rats heading through the zone to the Mexico area for their mid lvl missions.

For the love of god FLS, fix the damned game, you refuse to make ganking go away, so how about separating the transitional mission areas from RVR?
The spanish and Brits are not too bad as they cannot be blocked, well, the brits can when D L'isle is popped along with a few east Antilles ports.

Either reduce the bubbles sizes leaving enough room to navigate pass, or alter the map to allow the same thing. Really, the map needs to be twice the size it is, either way, just fix it.

Biggest problem with florida is it is an econ zone aswell as a newbie zone, which means by getting rid of zones in mission areas means that the French will have a huge advantage over econ than other Nations.

Make up to level 20's be immune to the red zone unless they initiate the fight or have a group strength considerably larger than the foes.

That's open to alt eco hauling abuse. Auto accepting all surrenders given by sub L20 would work though.

But yes, having a separate PVE only section for all starting players with no value to higher levels is the best way to sort things out.

It's a river-free econ zone.

Brits don't have the red problem around TB (which is why I was all "mog~" a the TBers when I played my brits~).

Compare the assembly-yard free Florida peninsula with the you-can-cross-between-STJ-and-CT-without-any-risk-of-interception-no-matter-how-red eastern antilles.

Used to (and still do on Roberts) have a master large shipyard at STJ and three assembly yards at CT to easily zip items back and forth in a bts.

That sure beats my forge/lumbermill/dual textile mills at Cayo.

Nevermind that Cayo lacks fertile soil so I have to import hemp products no matter what.

Rats have their "la la la, don't care about RVR" econ advantage. Brits have the newbie-friendly TB area and super-nifty STJ-CT-ST-BT triangle (square?), Spanish have uh.. teak in their DNH~ and France has.. three DNHs, only one of which is anywhere near heavy French-owned econ items (heavy as in takes a lot of shipping to move like oh OAK)

(I've never done econ as Spanish. maybe I'll spend some time planning out a Spanish econ matrix to see how it would work..)

Even a river put in like this pic would allow low lvl rats and frogs a pass to their mission areas.

You could also put one below Port of Spain so you could sail through that bay.

Mmm that would be nifty too.

Just dunno if Florida has any rivers even remotely like that @.@

(I guess it could be implemented simply as a ship teleport thingy... although it would be fun sailing along a nice wide and deep river or canal that crossed Florida like that...

Unless you're a lolBrit. Their econ never gets put in the red. They need a port close to their DNH's to flip and a port right next to port royal. The Brit easy mode map is fail.

Uh STJ is prolly the most reddable DNH that's actually used.

Just take the DNH status away from the newbie port, Turtling Bay~

Disagree. Leogane or Matthew Town gets that honor. Those ports are ALWAYS in the red. STJ is in the red no more than Cayo and FdF and Havana.

Not to mention having TB NEVER in the red more than makes up for the times that it is.

Nobody uses Leogane~ And MT is Rats, who seem to hate econs and built ships and cross-team them anyways half the time.

I'd have to study the overlapping circles carefully but I still think STJ can be put under deep red more often than MT~
