so i did the full installation thing, got all the patches and now when i go to play it says "novodex physics library returned: library not found"...ideas? please say i dont have to start this whole process over =(

I think you need to download the Ageia PhysX drivers and software. You should be able to get them on their website.

I am sure someone else will be able to provide you more detailed instructions what to do though. Don't freak out, I doubt you'll need to install everything again. It's likely only a min or two of downloads and installation processes, so you'll be ready to rawk within no time! Yarrr!

Everyone should have already installed the Ageia before game installation. It is found when you extract the cab files, you should see the folder titled "installers".

Yeah, sounds like the Ageia PhysX drivers aren't installed or installed properly. Uninstall them then download the version that comes with Pirates which is 7.07.24.

Install this one and hopefully you should be able to get in-game.

thank you- everything seems to be working as im now at the character creating screen...now just gotta find what server everyones playing on =)

Glad to hear it, frustration 0. =) Yes, I would like to know what server is most populated as well, one may want to avoid the really populated ones. Trust me, it drives you insane when waiting to enter a full server. <- If thats even possible in PotBS.
