Bloody Dagger Love

Question:
When will the Bloody Dagger get some love? For a refit ship it really isn't all that impressive and I see no incentive to use it over the Cursed Blade. Honestly I don't think I have seen anyone sail it since I've been back this week.

I think the Bloody Dagger either needs an overall top speed and accuracy buff or it needs an acceleration debuff and a cannon weight buff. I'd like to see the gundeck and the topdeck get closer together in poundage and go up a pound each at the cost of it's manueverability and speed.

Some people may disagree and that is perfectly fine. I personally would like to envision the Bloody Dagger as a slower more tankish CB more in line with the NO's Mercy. Especially since the Mercy "in my Opinion" seems to be very close in strength to the Pirate Herc now.

As it stands right now, the Bloody Dagger is simply a slower CB with poorer gun weight and a bit more acceleration. I can't see the incentive to use it over the other refit options. It doesn't really fill a niche.

I find the bloody dagger to handle quite alot better than the cursed blade, and i'd say they're pretty much equal for 1v1s and lighter fights, while the cursed blade is better for heavy fights.

If they were to buff the bloody dagger, it would have to be a very small buff, like one extra cannon, or 60 more armour or something, to avoid making it too powerful.

From my experience in 6v6s since PnP, the cursed blade seems to be balanced with the mercy. The pirate herc is quite alot better. But admittedly, my sample size of fights is quite small, probably only about 8-9 6v6s with the cutt since the patch.

With P&P release it did get two extra guns on the topdeck. Not much, but it was something.

The BD is a great ship and honestly didn't need the buff it got in P&P

I don't know. I was thinking more weight in the cannon and not more guns. I think it has enough guns.
