1 week no response: Economy mission bug

The Economy tutorial missions are broken, if you press "build it" early you cannot complete the quest.

You can fake your way through by building a different structure, but the next part will not be available, the quest line just dies. Im assuming it wants you to have a gravel pit on site to continue?

Unfortunately gravel pit is just a tutorial item, and I cant just buy a new one.

Im not starting a new char thats for sure...and I will quit over something like this.

If there is any way around this Id be glad to know...doesnt seem like support is getting back to me any time soon.

Have you tried canceling the quest altogether and then re-taking it from an auctioneer?

Yes, thats how I got to this new point of being stuck. I faked my way through the leg, but the next one will not show up. My assumption is one of the conditions is having a gravel pit, but Im not 100% sure...could just be messed up from the fake out.

So you're saying that you faked it with the logging camp, and the quest disappeared from your journal? If it did that then you're looking at a much larger bug than it first sounds because quests shouldn't be disappearing from your journal. I've had a couple quests in the game that I haven't been able to complete, usually due to Pirates making a PvP zone around a city that I need to get to, or accidentally deleting something I needed. The way around that problem has consistently been to just cancel the quest and restart it again.

2 things:

1) Remember that you can only have 10 structures total between all of your characters on the server. My probelm was caused by my main having 10 structures and couldn't do the tutorial with my alt til I figured that out.

2) SOE's reputation for customer service is dismal. You get better customer service at a Las Vegas loan shark with a baseball bat. Ask any former EQ, EQ2, SWG player and we'll all say the same thing.

I like this game, but if I would have seen "Sony Online Entertainment" or "SOE" anywhere on the box, I wouldn't have bought it. Funny as to how they left that off.

I was going to post something sarcastic, but I realized you might actually think I dont know that, so I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Yes I know that. But I am entitled to a non-broken experience, or at the very least service of some kind. The end of that mission has some very nice rewards including a ship upgrade. If it was some stupid random mission, I wouldn't care at all.

Not to mention, 1 week for a response is terrible...
