Inquisition vs Templar, if you want high faction for both

That's my problem. I'm at "Money in the Bank" and don't want to choose a side because not only do I not know what rewards lie at the end (not reputation turn ins, but actual mission rewards) and I don't want to lose faction with the other.

Does either branch offer anything special as mission rewards? I'm thinking maybe I'll just cancel the mission chain altogether and grind my reputation other ways.

It's like Ruenzi vs Cray: It doesn't tell you what rewards are for your choice, and later on you get a different title depending on which side you chose. I'm not having an easy time finding info on the rewards and titles for the Inquisition and Templar branches (again, the potbs wiki is terrible). Reputation turn ins I know, but that's not what I'm curious about.

Is it worth bothering with this long mission chain if my goals are the best mission rewards of the two (like Ruenzi vs Cray) and Celebrated with both?

The templar chain mission offers probably the best fencing sword outside of Beseiged Tortuga and an excellent open sea mod if you do a lot of hauling.

I don't remember getting anything special from the Inquistion, but then I wouldn't expect it (sorry couldn't resist). Might be worth a trip to Santiago to check the rewards for rep from these guys.

Of course if you want the "hip-hop" jewelry go Inquistion.

If you sink a lot of Dread Saints on the open sea I guess you could get a high rep with both eventually.

That's what I'm doing, hunting dread saints.

It's not the rep rewards I'm concerned about. I know I can eventually have them all. It's the mission rewards I'm concerned about. I remember luckily choosing professor cray over ruenzi, not knowing which one had the better reward, and I don't want to choose between these two factions and find out later that the other chain had the rewards I'm more interested in. So for now that templar agent will be waiting on my ship, since he's telling me to "choose my side" but not telling me what I'll get if i do.

If the wiki wasn't so outdated and useless I might be able to find the info I seek

Plus, most people seem to have gone the templar route. I know of the sword and the open sea mod, but what do you get from the inquisition? If it's worse then there's no point in choosing them, like ruenzi over cray (the pistol over the astrolabe)
