Well although admittingly my NO was on sandbox and i dont have one on testbed atm, i looked through the skill trees and some things seem a lil odd to me.
The Escort Line: rename it to the speed line plz. This line lost the actual escort ability and was replaced with a general +1 knot passive skill. 3 Out of the 5 skills are related to speed, 1 skill for accel and the useless convoy skill at the end of the line. Accel and speed increase lost its group benefit which is a lil weird imo. Would like to see something different in this line tbh, seems boring and just pure speed. I can see gankers specing this line and combined with the new last resort speed toggle, NOs could become some pretty fast gankers imo. Would like to see a different type of skill (pref non speed) put into this line. Bring back escort and revamp that skill instead of giving 1 DR, 5 resist etc. The Discipline line: description in game: "Skills related to a well ordered and responsive crew". Okay, ill keep that in mind. decimate: yup, boarding off/def and crew recovery rate debuff, sounds good. boarding discipline: +1 wave, +30% crew recovery rate, yup okay. warning shot: nerfed dmg but gained a TT bonus, not so bad. for god and country: get to feel like a bucc thats specd for bloody mind for 3 min, 6 min cd, cool, always has been this way if specd. Focus Fire: buffed to -6 DR, +8 acc and +30% dmg on the shot (45 sec duration). Hold the phone........., the 2nd best national debuff in terms of hurting your opponent armor is in a crew line and not only that.......but...........at the very back............. moved from spot 3 to 5. Now, yeah that may seem like some good old QQ at the end there but i think focus fire should be moved back to the 3rd spot or maybe even put it into a different line imo? For an anti CT comparison, if CTs can get 3 skills that do -5 dr and -27 resist that are all in the lines that are a must have for a CT (brutality, destruction and the first point in disaster), can the NO get some love like that too? Some skills that i wouldnt mind seeing a change in: Thundering Broadside(anti survive/lol evade): duration reduced from 20 seconds to 10. Fortress: Back to the 5% resist +5 defense instead of the +8 defense it is now, NO's did lose some resistance in scatter shot and last stand. The Disabling line could use some love for the last 2 skills imo. Show of force and crippling broadside rnt worth the points by a long shot. /discuss
