Default How much bandwidth does this game use?

Now that Burning Seas is going FTP I'm planning on coming back but am hoping I can do some of my gaming through a tethered iphone connection. Problem is I have limited bandwidth each month and so I was wondering if anyone has ever checked how much bandwidth this game uses when playing? I hear that WoW is around 40Mb/hour. Anyone know what PotBS uses or has anyone tried playing through a tethered cellphone connection? Thanks!

Ahoy OxBaker!

Sorry about the late response.

I've been successfully tethering for over a year with my blackberry tour. I have to force TCP connection or else the game lags so much I can't play.

The amount of game bandwidth will be determined by what you do in game. Like lots of Open Sea, grouping, or busy ports will increase the bandwidth.

On top of that the new follower pets add additional bandwidth because you can see their location from any place in a given port.

I'd suggest that you get NetMeter or similar to track your bandwidth.

Cheers...
