It isn't broken as far as I know, but Test Server (it has been renamed) is running a different build from Live and whenever this happens you cannot copy.

My guess is this Testbed build will not go to Live for another three weeks. It would appear FLS are behind schedule with builds because of SOE's outage; at least that I think is why 2.6 was pushed to Test Server so quickly after 2.5 went to Live, not leaving much time for people to transfer. But build 2.6 clearly has problems as Test Server has been offline for most of the time since the update, hence my guess of three weeks.

They rolled Testbed back to the current live build and locked it. So technically copying your toon should be available. If it is not I would suggest putting a ticket in for help.

Ah, yes of course. I wasn't paying attention.

But transfers might be disabled because it is locked. There must be something wrong still else they would let us back on, even if we cannot fish.

There's been more wrong than fishing bugs. We're unsure if it's a hardware problem or corrupted files or what. In any case, troubleshooting continues and transfers will likely be down until 2.6 is live. Apologies for the inconvenience, especially to those of you who do such a good job helping us test but who we keep kicking off to bring the servers back down again. Thanks for your patience.

Indeed though I have heard talk of them they don't appear anywhere useful...

They are useful, because they are on a completely separate timer from all other repairs.

They repair structure in exchange for armor. For sometime though they have not degraded any armor when used.

I have mentioned to Mel simply because they are on a separate timer they will still be useful when fixed. Not nearly as useful as they are right now though in their broken state.
