I wanna to ask SOE team to discuss a question about basic advertisement in Nordic and East Europa, CIS. I was very surprised that so nice game have any banner or smth other on popular "ru-net" sites. I don't know the situation in west region, but I'm sure that u lost thousands of people with money, that looking for interesting game and don't know anything about this one. I've found potbs only thx torrents trackers and even there this game is not popular, when the same time really trashes, stupid, casual cloned games attract people and make them dumb. It may correct usual online differences and would give fresh wave in our old bay.
I know about the Akella's fail, but time passed, smth changed. Why not to try?

imo the population actually seems quite healthy.

i was fishing in vera cruz (sue me) for maybe an hour today and my chat bar was spammed with ppl leveling up from turning the tutorial - mustve been 15-20 ppl do it in the space of an hour, at 3pm in the afternoon.

player retention is what needs working on i think, which involves fleshing out rvr a bit, and finding more things for ppl to do.

pvpers/rvr players need an expanded rvr system + balancing + an element of risk/reward back and pve players need some longer term goals (1st rates for example) + possibly a bit of fleshing out done to some of the mission chains. a return of live events could also help with this
