Tradition dictates, etc. ad nauseum, et al. Bugger that, I'm taking this one.
British fleet proceeds northward from the B, through what is now known as the UERETHRA, as dubbed by the leader of our heavies, Captain Lusifer. Dons proceed through whatever orifice they arrive near and tack up to the British position. With the barrier island between us and the wind in our favor the Dons raise sails and make for port, where there is wine, women, and warmth. I failed to mention it was an absolutely miserable pitch black night, dark as the bung of our illustrious leader (I pun yet again). Our skirmishers go south and engage with the enemy privateers at the X. Their privies are reinforced by frigates while our what little heavy squadron we have moves north to make a charge for town. Ships shoot at each other, I read a rather boring treatise on some inane scientific topic, something about how even though the French have abnormally small hands and feet they should still be considered human. Finally heavies are in position. Spain has formed a defensive posture near the f, facing north. British skirmishers have been broken at this point but the heavies persevere. I plow into one Spaniard, then another, until my prow finally comes to rest on the broadside of a rather well appointed Mont Blanc. Thinking I'm done for right there I start preparing to send all the damaging material I've collected on various captains via pigeon, when to my surprise the free-trader opposite me falls asleep on his quarterdeck. I scoot past him, and have a brief and shining moment of hope before the world explodes around me and all is lost in darkness. Town is taken, women are burnt, churches are violated, and children are drop-kicked into open sewers. Less that 20 but more that 17 British captains, including a Khan flute More than 23, less than 26 Dons, including a dozy Mont Blanc. If you can't understand the diagram go back to diagram school and pay attention this time.

Well mainly wanted to know what happened to the heavy, because of the nature of the battle's progress I was about on the other side of the map (before having my ship blown from under me).
Since Maxwell's, ah, great reporting skills are lacking a bit, I'll add some details. Quote:
