I am quite new to this game and would very much like some tips on playing this interesting class. While all tips are welcomed, I am actively seeking advice on what Buccuneer skills to take up (unless all of them can be taken over time), for PvP if need apply. Anything else that would be very useful to know, feel free
![]() Also, which swashbuckling would go good with buccaneers and what would be some good builds for it? (I plan on PvPing, but I dont want to get my butt kicked by NPCs) |

You can use 25 captains skill points at level 50, but the ones you take will depend heavily on what type PvP you are doing. Bucc is good in PvP, just a little slow. Get to 50 and ask a fellow pirate for advice then.

While you work on leveling up I would focus on speed and damage per second (damage, accuracy or reload) . Those are most usable for missions and NPC battles in general but have some shortcomings in PvP . When you become level 50 (or any time you may want to change something) you can buy a Career Respec to reset those skills and select new ones.
For Swashbuckling skills the Control line is very useful, but weaker against PvP opponents. Those can be changed anytime too (Swashbuckling Respec)

If you are a bucc:
1. Get a slerc 2. put 2 tough sails in permanent fittings 3. load barshots 4. Faceroll over keyboard 5. ??? 6. You won! |

You can only lose as buccaneer with smuggling skills.
