WTH?! Doesn't complete the Install!!!!

WTF do I purchase a game for, if I cannot play it?! I thought I had installed th game, only to click on the desktop shortcut, and it takes me through another "install". Only this time, it stops at "Installing 4,041MB of 7,558MB (53.5%)"....and thats it...it doesn't instal anything else!!!! I created my station account and even log in....but stilll NOTHING!!!!! Can ANYONE steer me in the right direction befroe I snap this DVD in half and burn the paperwork?! Grrrrrrrrr

Well, you can certainly snap the DVD in half. The DVD contains a copy of the game over four years out of date and there are very few game files unchanged since then. Its only value is the game code which will give you 30 day's Captain's Club membership.

The best way of installing the game right now is step 2 in this page:
http://www.burningsea.com/play

This will probably install the game in a different location from the DVD (Windows 7 did not exist when the DVD was made). Sorry to say, even this download is prone to hang-ups as several recent posts on here report, but I would trust it over a disc install.
