What is best sword for DF?

And no, I have SOD and don't like it. I use career sword but wonder if there is a better one. I have specced for Control.

Hmmm...Id like to know that my self. Besiged from what I remember has 1 or 2 swords each for each fighting style, other then the SOD. There is one I remember for DF that exstreamly high health, when Im armed with it my heath shots up to 420. Its sword you get from besiged rep. I cant recall the name off hand.

Allot of DF style folks I switched to other fighting styles after the nerf that we had to DF. I think FLS dumbed down the SOD after that too.

i like the pit fighting sword for Df just cuz it looks cool don't recall the stats though

What was nerfed about DF? It definitely doesn't feel as strong as I remember months ago, and I can't find patch notes.

I use Wrath Of The Prelate myself, but SOD just dishes out the damage.

Guard regen was reduced on Fortitude, and the damage on steady strike was lowered.

I've taken to using the Obsidian Fang over the SoD as I tend to last much longer in fights. The damage bonus of the SoD is nice... but the Fang works better for me.
