Exclamation Read the above sticky notes

Check your LP3 Launcher for which version you are loading, the TEST 2.10.x or 'live' servers.

Okay when I click apply Testbed, then click "Play," it still brings up the Live version with Roberts and Antigua. What am I doing wrong?

Using Station Launcher.

Go straight into LaunchPad.exe. It will be in your game folder.

Download version 2.10 here. I am no longer maintaining this to the current game build.

The only two games that are popping up are Infantry Online and Cosmic Rift, when I click the "more games" option, it just takes me to the soe website and tells me to download them. Why, oh why, is it so difficult? I've been on Testbed before but I just can't remember how I got there. I've got a level 50 guy on there that I want to test some society warehouse stuff with because my guys on live server are really bangin down the door to figure out how they will work.

Remus, your help is always so appreciated. Thank you!

Well, I have no idea what is going on there. I suggest you close Station Launcher before trying to run it, but it looks looks like you have a different LaunchPad (how I wish SOE would give them each distinctive filenames).

Copy (or move if you are short of disk space, but this might mean you won't be able to get on Test Server anway; you will need a free 7GB) your piggs folder somewhere safe and what I recommend you do is a fresh install from step 2 in http://www.burningsea.com/play. It might insist on installing in a new location; don't worry about that, I would just let it. But do make a note of the location.

The install will download the launcher and then use the launcher to download the game files. If you have copied rather than moved the piggs and it is downloading to the same location as your current game you may as well just let it continue.

If the new download is in a different location or you moved rather than copied your piggs, shut down the launcher when it starts up. Now move the piggs folder into your main game folder and re-start the launcher. It will take longer than you can think possible to do a filescan, will download a few small files and then you should be able to play the Live game.

You should have a Testbed folder in your game folder. Note Testbed, not TestServer. If not, it will get created when you select Testbed from the launcher (top left). Copy the piggs folder from your main game folder into the Testbed folder. The launcher will again do a filescan and download a couple of hundred MB of files.

If you use pirates_local.ini or alchemy_local.ini, copy these into both your main game folder and your Testbed sub-folder.

Oh, and you can delete your TestServer and POTBS folders unless they contain items of personal interest.

You should now be ready to go. Good luck.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and now when I try to run LaunchPad, it's just a "launchpad application" which just routes me back to station launcher. I guess I'm just not meant to ever get on testbed, lol! But I hope some kind soul will provide us with the 1st/2nd rate recipes once 2.11 hits testbed...(*nudge* Remus)

Of course.

But I am puzzled you are seeing Station Launcher at all. It should not be any part of the game downloaded from the www.burningsea.com/play page.
