Personally, I am very happy with an unfair fight. I cringe at the arranged fights, and though I have been in a fair number of them, don't really feel comfortable with the whole idea.

I like to get a bit more into character. My character is a pirate. He likes profit, and not getting killed.

I don't tag low levels (unless they annoy me) as there is no profit there.
I will hit any ship I think I can beat, and will run if it looks like I'm going to be sunk.

I expect others to do the same. LD play the game as it should be played.

Anyone foolish enough to sail a ship where me and my compatriots can gang up on him is asking to be ganged up on.

Likewise, when my crew are slovenly and drunk, and have left the ship rolling in the swell, its only to be expected that some enterprising privateer will come in to put the hang mans noose round their necks.

I don't blame those that catch me for this, as its my crews (my) fault for not paying attention.
