Can you chat players that are online in-game here in the forums?

Hi! I really need to talk to a friend of mine in-game but I can't currently go online because my comp that I have installed the game in has a problem now so my only chance to talk to him is in the forums or is anyone willing to help me by telling him in in-game chat that maybe he could go online in the forum so i can talk to him. Thanks
