I've been getting this error for about the past month. I tried what it said in this thread:
http://www.burningsea.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88798 and when I opened up internet explorer I found that the box for that option had already been unchecked. I haven't found anything similar on Google Chrome, which is what I use mainly, so I'm not really sure what to do. Thanks. |

Chances are it's video drivers and Flash player. Chronic to Google Chrome users it's built in flash will indicate an updated Flash player ( which the launcher needs ) when in fact it's not. I would suggest manually updating both your video drivers and Flash ( Using IE or Firefox ) and try again.

Thanks for the reply GMSwabbie. I updated flash and video drivers[I *think* - it appears to have finished but something started downloading afterwards called AMD Catalyst Install Manager; I have a Radeon card] but I'm still getting the same error. Do you think uninstalling Chrome would help at all?

The AMD cat is part of your drivers

aight, well it definitely finished downloading now. Doesn't look like it helped.
If it matters at all, I've always been starting the game through Steam, and I tried to launch it manually, yielding the same results. |
