I wish PotBS would be more like WoT.

Just to compare stats:
I've been in around 30+ Portbattles in PotBS in 3 years.
I've been in over 4000 Battles in WoT in a half year.

WoT is like you would doing non-stop Portbattles in PotBS.

Or non-stop regular PvP, that would work for me as well, even though I admit portbattles is the jewel in the crown of PvP.

Ok i've got to admit that i was in around 200-300 OS-PvP Battles and also in a lot of missions...
but this is still no competition to the number of battles that i've had in WoT.

What i try to say is that i find WoT a lot more casual-player-friendly as PotBS.
PotBS is a really good game and it has the best Age of Sail PvP that i've ever seen,
but it's a lot to time consuming for casual-players.

WoT on the other hand is extremly hard to progress in if you're casual. And expensive as **** if you want to progress at all in tier8+ as a casual

casual friendly,true,but if you dont learn the game,you gonna get ****ed there,also it is pretty much p2w sometimes even at tier 7,not tlaking about higher lvls...WG is a bounch of moneybageaters
