Is it legal to create Unofficial potbs game guide ?

Hello,

I have a question, I am planing to spend time on improving game experience for new/ current players and create an ilustrated guide for ships, mission walk through, collectible items etc. Each guide will have pictures and details. Is it legal to make something like this? Please answer!

To my knowledge not its not illegal since there are many how to guides everywhere in forums.
However id expect you to refrain from giving spoilers about the story content, some people actually like to be suprised about their quest.
I have seen many people asking how to buy a ship and other no brainer questions in nation chat from time to time which is odd since the initial quests walk you through how to do stuff but maybe give a full explanation in your guides. TBH im hoping that with the switch and forum cleaning that was stated to occur some more trivial outdated stuff gets filed under T and we get some good new guides going that are stickied.

There are copyright issues if you use any artwork of the actual game in the guide.

There is a guide out there already, But really after a few patches a guide is outdated anyhow. Now if you put in a Mission only help guide together, that might work. Since FLS hasnt really messed with the missions much, just the classes,ships,econ,skills "the things that make the game fun" ect... You could do us all a favor and update wiki though but best wishes mate.

hahahaha.. i still have that book from along time ago.. still has the code in it for a parrot that i never used. but yes i think the book was outdated after the first patch!
