but if you are going to spend the money for warehouses you really should get like 2 or 3 extra lots in that port, on that character only. this shared lots thing, without anyway of transferring itms, is really annoying and pointless. I can see it makes you HAVE to trade or be in a society, but to really make and manufactured item it takes way to many lots, there really needs to be a way to get more, either by levels, buying a warehouse or something.

Personally I think the best thing FLS could do is limit the lots to six lots per server per region.
Most nations only have ports in 3 regions, so this would mean 18 lots total but with far more possible. The best part about doing this would mean it would force players to actually transport their goods a lot more, and thereby have to transport in and out of pvp areas more often. Which would thereby increase the value of pvp. As it stands now most players try to centralize their production as much as possible. Few players have lots spread out over several regions. |

for pirates, the primary reason to centralize production is to avoid the cost of warehouses. 16K is an awful lot of doubloons for your third warehouse; I have no idea how much a fourth might cost.

region slots aren't a bad idea, but it's a bit late now to implement it. how would you deal with all the people who already have all 10 lots used in a single port?
also, I would reduce the number of lots to 3-4 per region. 18 lots within 3 starting regions is really too many lots. -ken |
