Okay, I held my peace about this because I figured patches would solve it after release, but here goes:
Every 30 minutes or less (!) I have one of the 3 following issues: - Crashing to desktop, with Windows Vista saying 'PotBS has stopped working.' - Stuck at the loading screen (you know, between zones). - The endless ocean bug. I updated my DirectX Drivers, Windows Vista itself, my Ageia Physx Drivers, you name it... The problem is the enormous frequency at which the crashes occur. When on the open sea I can pretty much sea when a crash is coming, since it starts to chop (noticeable by 'breaks' in the ships wake etc.). Since it happens at all these different times, I cannot replicate any given incident with certainty. Included is my Dxdiag file. Please help, this is really ruining the game for me... ![]()

If you can, file a seperate support ticket for each of these issues. Be sure to attach a client log file from when the incident happened (these logs are in "My Documents\Pirates of the Burning Sea\log").
For crashes try to include a dump file as these help us diagnose the problem much faster. Read support KB article 112 on how to get the dump. |
