Please look at the Brit nation and play on it before u say that. The MAJORITY of our nation are casual players and dont want anything to do in pvp. You need to look into the Brit nation before u bring out comments like that.

We have NEVER fielded 48 players at one time, other nations have. So you have no argument.

We have a map situation; and we all go at it our own way, understand what we want to; and plan to change it the way we want; this is only a forum. Nothing said here will have much impact in the game: what do you want? that they stop ninja'ing? it's an option they have; you have the same option.

What i really mean; we can't ask anyone to NOT DO something; if you think their tactic is unfair; do the same to them. It's not really playing fair; but it should make for a situation that is fair.
Does it matter in the big scheme of things? Of course not. I'm just tired of hearing the british wheel out all sorts of excuses (see LukkasVM's post above) when we all know the real reason.

And I'm not asking them to stop ninja'ing, nor am I expecting them to. Hell, they would be stupid if they stopped ninjaing. It's valid, it's easy, and the brits are playing to win. It's not the job of the players to change the rules, it's the job of the game designers - who have clearly stated that they won't.

Ok so the brits are carebears watching TV and eating cake running mostly AFK while playing the game; and only 48 something players are hardcore enough... and in other posts you have people who whine that they get told not to participate to port battles because they don't have the level.

So what is it? elitist people telling their nation not to participate in PB's; and then whine that no one else in the nation cares about flipping ports in which they won't be allowed to participate?

No, its actually more of, decline ur invite i only have 100 points and i have a 4rth rate and need to get in.

Lots of pple like the port battles but not the grind as well.

But also, we have never ever fielded 48 players in a port battle.

We lost De L'isle because pple left for Ruddy Cove, lost leogane cause pple left for a SJ area PB, lost a Yucatan port cause of a SJ area PB.

Every nation has their problems. Our is we have very limited time during the day to actually get round to flipping ports cause we are always defending during prime time, and u cant deny that, look at yesterday, and also cause most are either elite pvpers or elite couch potatoes, one only wants to pvp and one only wants to stay in non-red zones. Problems we are working on fixing.

Also, if u guys stop turning up in 20+ lvl 50 ships, then lower lvls will stop complaining, but the only reason they are complaining is cause we are telling them not to join cause as i have said, you have more higher lvl pvp players than we do.

My point was not about allowing anyone who had points in port battles; it would make no sense to have 10 level 35's in stralsund and the rest barely in level 40 defiants etc. What I meant is that you have people in your nation who apparently don't meet the nation's requirement for Port Battles; but who could actually work at flipping ports since they don't go to said port battles yet. Now the issue; why would they want to work for people who constantly reject them?

At first night-flips were cause "U.S. players fun time", then were due to "alliance fre-spa", then due to the fra-spa-pir alliance, then were a reprisal for Bartica (omg they are till rosik / whining cause a PB of 2 months ago) and more , then were reprisals against "PR in red" (caused by pirates, but not one of their ports was flipped at night), now they are forced to flip at night cause they are busy in other hours, tomorrow ...dunno

You can not expect that after all these jokes they simply say:
we do because it is advantageous.

They say/think "it's true that nightPbs we have no-resistance, but we are still the most "pro", while all those who complain (including the British) are only Noobs"

Omg drama, or maybe psycho-drama?
In any case, stop drama

In cooperation with "pro" could take a step forward and assume that the night-flips are planned because advantageous...it's all.
There are excuss threads all over the forums for some subject or another, and the excuss for those actions changes all the time, the reason for the Yarr-Franco-Spain alliance, the reason for British late night flips, etc, etc. The one reason why its done and why it continues to be done it because it works, and gives whomever a better chance for vistory.

Again, if u kno a time GMT that is good for the Brit nation to flip a port without having to worry about defend, give it to me.
from Overview Battle post:
exemples
04/04/15:00 Britain attacks Ruddy Cove (Pirates)
04/04/14:00 Britain attacks de L'isle (Pirates)

It seems a good time if and when u want
Btw Brit-pro are in right to flip as they want, but pls stop to look/post absurds excuses.
So, as I remember not a single attack against pirate ports was at "night"...

ps: a good news......only players that play brit have work, school or need to eat, sleep, wc etcetc ^^

Everyone knows pirates are thieves and beggars; since I'm not a thief; you can find me playing potbs on my notebook at the subway entrance begging for food/cash

The two examples you use are 'accidental' flips from people grinding NPC within a 100miles of port over a number of days.

Well, Pirate ports are not really a good example, especially those two

- They can be flipped easily because the Pirates would be mad to defend them if we hand them such a good hunting ground on a silver plate
- Most of the contention point grinding is not done by the actual PVP players but by the PVE players who grind there
- The PVP players actually have to grind only those last 2500 points to finally bring the port into conquest so the attack place gets freed after two days. That can be done quickly.

In opposition to that, it takes a lot more time and effort to actually flip a port that is being actively defended. Spanish ports are hard enough to obvious reasons, French ports not that much better if not even worse due to the Spanish showing up as well. That is work that is so far done deliberately only by a handful of British players. From my personal point of view, a part of the players that want into the port battles have only been grinding around there lately, but have not actively been working on the port flip. For example, I have 4k points at Roseau, or 14k points at Bridgetown. Have I been actively working on the flipping or defending of those ports? No, not at all, but I happened to farm XP and cash around those spots. But still, if someone is actually flipping Roseau one day I could come up and say "Hey, I have 4k points on that port, I have earned my spot in that battle" when I actually did nothing to work on the actual flip.

My personal observation does also prove that point. Whenever a defensive or offensive battle took place at a port that is not at the same time a common cash or xp farming spot, I noticed that there was a lot less fighting in the nation chat about not getting in when one had "clearly" contributed to the flipping or defense. Good examples are ports like Biloxi, Leguane, New Orleans and so on. So ports out of the common farming grounds. Leguane not lying in an common farming area for the British once directly followed a defense against the Spanish on another port. Main force was in the battle against the Spanish. Leogane would have been free for anybody. Half the battle was empty.

Just my personal observation, so I hold no claim to the universal truth of it. Might be I just not noticed some other things or missed part of the picture.
