You guys NEED to get this sorted out.

It is not a case of waiting for packeteer to get their A into G and pritorise your packets, its a case of redesigning the game packet so that it is not classified as peer to peer.

I live in New Zealand, and the game is unplayable on both the Invincible and on the Antigua servers because my ISP heavily restricts peer to peer.

I have a mate who is currently in Korea, where the ISP that supplies a number of appartments is restricting peer to peer traffic.

You need to get this fixed ASAP.

When I say "unplayable" - I mean the following.
- Unable to connect to server
- Rubberbanding in OS, PVE, PVP, AVCOM, Town. Infact, everywhere.
- Very long transition times - read minutes to transition from port to AH.

When is something going to be done?

With 1.2 or 1.3 they actually did change the packet 'shape', which should make them look less like P2P packets.

Why do you blame FLS, who are actually already trying to fix it and have done so. You should blame your ISP, an ignorant corporation that only cares about money.

THIS is why net neutrality is such a hot topic! If you can, vote with your wallet!

Oh yeah, with my mate's appartment complex in Korea, they can't change ISPs.

EVERY ISP in NZ packet shapes, so why bother moving and having to change IP addresses etc - and still get the same crap performance?

Looks like ISPs in the states are doing it as well, heard about Comcast? (http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Government/...utrality-Bill/)

Unlucky, but lets face it, its a problem with your ISP. Arguably not everyone is affected by this, presumably its a minority. FLS can only justify x amount of expenditure to accomodate you (lots of dev work, small return).

What about the Aussie server

You're raging at the wrong people, your ISP: Complain to them constantly about the situation (or find an alternative solution).
