You will have zero crew in two shots. Sweep the Decks = 200% crew damage with explosive shot (That makes explosive shot hit like Grape fyi.) Less of a problem in a flippy boat like the Arcadia - which is likely why you can have your accel nerfed by 25% and turn rate by 35% while theirs increases.

Not to mention the 35% cut shroud, the various damage shots and the triple repair.

I wouldn't close the gap, very good chance you get dismasted/outrepaired.

Priviteers will be the new super gank class in 1.4 with the Mast and DPS changed. I'm sure you're happy.
