Referencing Münchhausen and saying "which is a great movie" in the same sentence is, as far as I'm concerned, blasphemy....

It's a Terry Gilliam, either you love it or you hate it.

Default Anna is legitimately bored again.

I'm bored again. Here's the result:

1) A claddaugh that I actually submitted awhile ago but never posted here...
2) A dead seahorse (which looks a lot like a live, intact seahorse).
3 and 4) A cute little purple dragon in pirate and French mode. I think I shall name him Lockheed.

Default I'm awake!

Anna's crawling back out of a two week long hibernation with new material and and much less sleep.

These were actually based on wrought iron patterns, but the flag ended up looking like someone's flying a persian rug off stern. Oh well. I may change up the colors on this later if I'm feeling so inclined.

I did several versions of the stripey sails. Monotone w/ transparency, plus dualtone and dualtone inverted. Do we think they're too detailed? I think they might be...

Default All for UC 2.0!

In interest of testing the UC 2.0 system and upon noticing a certain lack of flags in the queue... I took it upon myself to whip up what I will now call my "five minute flag" collection.

That name is actually a bit of a misnomer. I may have spent 10 or 15 minutes on some of these...

(Also, I wanted to play with the new forum tags!)

Some final trivia:

The quintuple pennon flags are made on a template I cooked up awhile ago but never posted here. I already have 4 flags made on this template approved and in game. The black and white one is currently pending approval... while the blue and white one was rejected due to panic votes.

Nice flags, I was just sitting here contemplating making a few myself due to lack of content in the que and to test things. Yeah, I'm not sure that panic button thing is going to fly when superb flags like that get auto-rejected. And if that won't work then you can bet for sure that we won't see an autoreject for aliasing or any other flaws, like some others are asking for. Unfortunately, it would appear that if some part of the system can be abused, it will be abused.

Thanks for the comments, Sadet.

I think the panic buttons are pretty high on my list of concerns right now, at least conceptually speaking. I'm not too worried about that flag, specifically. Afterall, I'm not exactly that invested in any of the "five minute" flags.

How do I find you in Anitgua and what does a Brit need to offer for the Claddaugh flag?

Mr. O
