but while you are saving up for your pirate herc you will never lose money from PVP because you'll be sinking in free ships. Every time a national sinks it sets him back on the savings for his super ship because he has to buy a new ship to replace the loss.

Mercy has fewer guns, less DR, less armour and less structure than the pirate herc. Pirate herc costs 2 lineship bundles, MC herc costs 8. This would only be equal if the only way to get money from this game was npc drops, which personally I doubt. 3rd rates cost the same as an MC herc, and cannot run from a fight if they are losing, which severely affects their longevity. 2nd and first rates cost so much it simply is not worth risking them to have a fair(ish) chance of forcing pirate hercs to run away from a battle.

Also, considering you guys can float about in your i-win groups (when you can manage to stick together) without worrying about any other groups, you dont risk your ships and you can constantly farm MoTs for more lineship bundles for more bundleboats, and MoVs to sell to nationals. We have to resort to fast ships and splitting people up to get our MoTs and MoVs.

we earn 3-4 times less money


ammo, consumables, outfittings are not 3-4 times cheaper

for 1 ship, with outfittings, ammo and consumables we pay easy around 20k for normal stuff, 30k for the good stuff


in the time we grind that 30k, nats can make about 100-120k


thats for 1 ship.

But do you honestly only make money from grinding? Pretty much none of my money comes from grinding. I get some from selling movs, and some from selling experts.
