Yes I died in like 15 seconds, but the end result was that your entire group was split up picked a part either being killed or stuck in Bass. The result was we flipped the port relatively unaccosted there after. The cost; an MC Raa. And lets not kid ourselves, it probably helped that you spawned right on top of me.

There is no TDY/GdM/Mafia vs. DaT/EdC/CdM. There is a dispute between GdM and DaT over effective communications. We are not aligned with other societies. Lets not get silly.

Im tired of people wanting to utilize the Underdog Tools to maintain their grinding proficiency. If grinding NPCS is what you are here for and only here for then you are of no use to me. It has its place, and France as seen by the showing at TB has the ships, so its place at the moment is rapidly diminishing. Its time to look towards a win.
I understand what you're saying and this is how we played Map 1. Few people were concentrating on grinding for cash (lineships) until the very end of the map when all was lost for France anyway. Before that it was all about OS PvP and PBs. With the merge, the landscape changed. We got a bunch of folks who had tons of lineships and we can either withdraw from participating in any meaningful way from the PBs or we can grind to try to catch up. *Trust me* I would rather be out playing the game than grinding, but if I want to participate in the new level of RvR competition, I have to grind and that means passing on some activities that I'd rather participate in (like flipping Basseterre).

Also, did the underdog tools not get nerfed? I keep seeing everyone say stuff about the underdog tools, but I have no idea why that would affect whether I grind or not. Having them means LESS grind, not more.

GJ on the flip

Make no mistake, I intended no slight Robert. TDY/GdM naturally gravitate towards eachother because of the "Old Guard" status. What one does, the other tends to support, the same with Mafia except for different reasons.

While there is no alliance per say there certainly are Societies that tend to group with one over the other, that is what I was merely pointing out.

If you disagree with TDY/GDM, you're wrong. Its that simple. Go with results, and get in your place nubs.

The problem with that as Ive seen Garbad is that GdM/TDY are highly competent yes, but as is repeated over and over and over again they had neither the time or the resources to continue where they left off. The guys from BB have the necessary new blood, and drive to assist in a win. But if DaT is bringing 12 guys to a PB, and GdM or ArC is only bringing 3 its not hard to figure out that there is going to be animosity one way or the other if someone brings half assed tactics and kills a bunch of ships.

As we saw the other night.

I stopped reading the drama -- so was it proven by the video that they could have blocked and didn't?

I stopped following it as well. But it doesnt really matter, yes a ship was lost but was it the zerg rush tactic or the lack of a block? The result was the same, the ship was lost whose fault it was I could honestly careless.

Remember that scene from 300 where the greeks say they outnumber the Spartans and thus should be more important? The one where he asks the guy what he does for a living? Ponder that scene, then ask yourself what GDM/TDY has spent the last 5 months training for while you were grinding out those bundleboats.
