Updater Times
Ok my friend has been ranting and raving about this game for ages so i finally decided to try it out....i get to the updating part and cant bare to understand this important fact...why does it take 60 hours to update....am i just re downloading the whole game or something...the only time every had to update something like that was when i needed to download a 4 gig installation file from an old game i used to play
I have a 800kb/s connection and dont understand why it takes sooo long |

If you got the original game installer, then there is the 1.2 patch which is 700mb or so. There is suppose to be a new patch for 1.3 today so if it was released that would mean having to download 1gig+ of things.

Additionally, try investing in an actual number of MBs that are required for download V number already downloaded on the Updater UI. Please.
It's been running for about 4 hours now. It completely filled the Total Progress bar and has now rest. I have no idea how long this updater has left to go. Could be 1MB, could be 1000MB. (stupid blue progress bar) Why wouldn't they do that in the first place? |

Why is every one having sach trouble with the DL taking so long i have 512 cable and Dl from the GA site 5 gig of game and patch and it took me 36 mins. Idont under stand what is going on and the 1.3 patch took me bout 12 mins with install on my slow *** comp

I would suggest that the Flying Labs staff consider making a new downloadable installer, with all patches included. Admittedly, it would increase the size of the installer, but at least there isn't the day-long patch download grind to sweat through.

Just bought the game and installed it. Now to install the patches.
1 hour (or so it says on my thing) left using LaunchPad. Maybe I'm an exception? |
