You understand wrong. First, PB's in Rackham were almost always filled to the brim, with the exception of invite bugs, disconnects and so forth. We had a fair share of low attendance battles, too, specially on odd ours and in some low-morale situations, but by far the largest number of battles were fought with full ready rooms. Go to the All Port Battles on Rackham thread and read the AAR's. There's a few hundred, so you might want to take my word on it.

Second, the transfers society lost a lot of PB's, with their bundleboats, against the Rackham players who, according to you, don't know how to do full 24, level 50 in bundleboats port battles. I'll refer to Spain vs Britain, in particular. We (Spain) got almost no transfers and the transfers we do got have been mostly absent of PB's here, although they contribute in other ways (and some of them are making appearances now). So, we basically had the old Spanish Rackham societies defeat the british societies from BB, repeatedly, in some cases while badly outgunned.

Also, what Brigham said is right. A large portion of the "Rackham Old Guard", specially in France and Spain, played in Beta. In Beta, rated ships were cheap and plentiful. You should take Brig's word on it. He sailed a rated ship for more battles than all the non-beta guys who built them now put together.

The armsrace on BB and the extremely high attendance at port battles there means that most people who transferred over DOES have WAY more experience when it comes to the kind of port battles that are NOW a reality on Rackham.
All the above proves is that societies grinded (ground?) more cash (or paid for it with real cash) on Blackbeard than they did on Rackham. We valued different things. Now that all the BB peeps came over, we are forced to engage ourselves in the arms race which you speak of and which Britain so far is losing badly.

Bundle boat ≠ Skill

So what society are you in? What nation for that matter?

Edit: And if you think 6v6 skill has no merit on the outcome of PBs, than I hope you and people like you attend every PB for whatever nation you are from, unless you are Spanish... in which case GTFO.

Yeah because none of the transfers ever played Beta. Jesus christ. It's the Old Guard elitism that's pissing me off.

God damnit, not getting transfers and winning port battles because of it? I wonder why...

Maybe it had SOMETHING to do with the fact that while YOU guys were fighting with the exact same guys you've always been fighting with.

We had people coming from all different servers who now had to work together, for better or worse in a port battle. with VERY different ideas.

This is STILL a problem, thus my "Cut the Old Guard/New Guard ********" statement.

Don't feed the flames.

Tonight's PvP was like hard drugs. Like it used to be.

I'm expecting a swift ban from my starspeckled posts later. But I don't give a ****. I haven't talked much and I probably won't anymore.

All I wanted to say is that the Old Guard elitism is ****ing annoying.

When the transfers outnumber the original members on the server they transfer to.

You gotta stop the ****ing elitist crap, cause you're not such hot **** anymore.
