Default In regards to the Players on Rackham getting the shaft

FLS, we deserve something for the stuff going on. I mean anything would be nice.

Why should we be screwed over by a malfunctioning server, some people lost durability on ships, not to mention the way we get four minutes of warning time that the server is being restarted!(kinda hard for some people to make it to port safely on such short notice!)

I mean I understand its emergency maint. but we PAY you to play the game, not wait for it to be fixed!

yes, but i'm refering to the player base as a whole deserving a reward for suffering through the recent garbage FLS has been feeding us.

The rollback sucked too. Watched a port we were pushing go from 4200 to 3300 just from the server restart. Not cool.

yep. So I'm obivously not alone in feeling that us loyal players are getting the shaft.

FLS, stop the new content until everything get working right! I know you want new features to attract new players, but the only reason the game still exists is because of us LOYAL ones who stick around. A new player on a free trial isn't going to sign up for the game when it screws everyone over.

So basically you are just throwing away money when something goes wrong and you just say OH WELL, deal with it.

Get your stuff together if you don't want to find a new job. This game won't last very long going down this path.

I have given consideration to coming back to PoTBS after ending my subscription but this thread has made me once again, decide to stay away from it. Maybe next time :/
I will be checking back at the end of summer to see if they have cleared up their BS problems yet

I didn't think this thread was worth the effort to post in. But apparently some people take things too serious.

People, this is an MMO, with lots of things going on on/with the servers. This isn't simply baking a cake. These things just happen. Relax, take a breath and continue having fun!

They have apologized, it was obviously not something they just decided to do for fun, it was something that needed to be done. If you lost a ship, yes i could see them replacing that. But simply to reward people who already dont appreciate what they have is not a good idea.

Besides, there is another approach, perhaps, talking like an adult? Carrying on an intelligent conversation? Being patient? Instead of this me me me mine mine mine now now now gimme gimme gimme approach you are trying, maybe trying treating people with respect. These people are doing a job, and who know what might have happened if they had not shut down the servers on four minutes notice for an emergency reset. Entire server wipe? One week rollback?

You don't get it. They announced four minutes and then the server was up and working horribly for another hour before they bothered to reset it. It was poor communication and poor implementation. Sorry, but if I did work like this at my job, I'd be in trouble.

I think they gave that notice of four minutes becuase people were stuck already for 2+hours now that sucked. They also didnt want other people who were still in the server to get stuck in the loading screen and the lose thier ship which would suck for both sides them and us. Running for an hour ****ty like was do to trying to get people unstuck first then fix what was wrong. Thats what I think.
