I got stuck on the beach too (saturday, level 33, Spain), only stock dialog. I could exit via the long boat.

Jaqueline Santaire is referred to as a he in every quest I've done so far but either its really a she or he has **** and dresses like a woman.

There's been a fix made to this mission that addresses the problems you guys are having -- from what it sounds like, they all seem to be the same issue. The change will be in patch 1.4, and will require you to drop the mission from your log and retake it from Cray's student.

As for the gender mix-up, that has also been fixed in 1.4.

So I have the mission, and I have not dropped it. There has been almost no issues for weeks on the post other than a Gender issue. I do not care about gender, but I want to complete this series of quests.

I go to Ambergis and I have completed every quest there. Then I have been to every port back to Santa Cantalina and have no way to complete or advance this quest. Online GM supports seem broken...

Newer player (about 1 month) and very disappointed in the APPEAL PETITION or whatever system. How can one actually get a GM to assist?

I had finished the Swashbuckling fight with the Knights of St. George in Maracaibo when I spoke with Ulises Beraza; however, before he was able to offer me "Study Period", I dropped out and wasn't able to auto-reconnect in time. /sigh.

So the question is Gavin - how does one pick-up from here?

I returned to Cape de Vela on the off chance Professor Ogden's home was available, but it appears not anymore. I've already triggered "Report to Professor Cray's House after 25".

I'll check back in Barilla on the off chance the Scholars might have triggered.

I too have the Road Scholar quest in my mission log, but cannot speak to Ogden.

This isnt a level issue, as I am level 49.

This is twice in two days that the main storyline arc has left me in a position where I cannot continue. I've had no disconnections during missions.

The last time, the problem was that I had to complete some other missions first.. one that wasnt in my quest log nor given by any of the NPC's that I have had to go to at the time that I had to go to them (I pick up all missions they offer each time I visit them)

Quite simply, there should NEVER be a mission in your journal that cannot be done. Are we sure its the PVP'rs that are leaving the servers en masse and not RP'rs? The RP missions are ****ing ****ed so you can kiss all those players goodbye unless you address this serious issue immediately with a patch. Stop balance tweaking for a moment and fix the problems that are in peoples faces.

im in the same boat as the guy who cant get cray to talk.
i went to that shack and there is a piece of paper glowing on the floor but i cant pick it up.
i cant talk to cray about anything good on the beach, wether the other npc is there or not. Im level 31 spanish freetrader.
I would like it if a gm could fix this.
Im new and im gonna bore quickley if i cant even do the story missions.
